I see each of my hand-painted ‘spirit creatures’ as representative of the beings who walk and stalk and burrow and fly. as colorful companions in our homes, they help bridge worlds, strengthening the tether between ourselves and place.
these spirit creatures are inspired by the colorful beings who roam the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts. this is an ongoing series, and I love creating unique spirit creatures as commissions.
