Hi! Weโre Comet and Leenie (Kelly and Elyna). Welcome!
We became friends and housemates in San Francisco in our early twenties. As we navigated new jobs and life chapters, we both began to realize that our creative and professional paths wanted and needed to be in conversation with the land around us. When life inevitably got confusing (read: career pivots, uncertain income, existential crises!) it was the land that offered surprising paths forward in integrity with our creative souls and with the world around us.
Fast forward to now: Comet is a place-based artist who lives in the Sonoran Desert amongst its wildly inventive plants and animals. As a rites of passage guide, she co-weaves land-based gatherings with an emerging collective called Midnight Sun.
Elyna moved back to her hometown of Grass Valley and started a company that blends modern business with geologic nature. You can find her in her backyard amongst the oaks and pines teaching about volcanic eruptions and email campaigns, or leading a group on a retreat into the woods.
